Orly Mysterious Curse Nail Lacquer (Dark Shadows Collection)

I must admit I haven't seen the movie (Dark Shadows) yet.. But I HAVE TO SEE IT! And I will ;)
I absolutely ADORE Johnny Depp, and this is a must see for me!
Ahh... Johnny...
Ok. Enough about my celebrity crush :P When I saw Orly is going to release this collection online, the first nail polish I loved and thought I have to get was this one. I really love duo-chrome nail colors, and blue and purple are probably my favorite colors of nail lacquers. This one has both of them! *love*
It's actually the first time I'm trying Orly nail lacquers. I really wanted to try them out for a long time, but it was kind of hard to find around here.. But now they've opened this new Sally store near my house, so I could grab one of these before the collection ends. :) Lucky me!..
I have to say that my first impression out of this nail lacquer is really good! I used two coats to get the perfect opacity, the bottle is huge! (.6 oz/18 ml) and it's cheap comparing to, let's say, OPI or MAC nail polishes.
At the end of the day, I must say I'm positive It's not going to be my first and last Orly nail lacquer I'm going to purchase ;)

OOTD: Windy Day

We went out to the grocery store to buy the ingredients for my B-day cake :) It was a very windy day, you can tell from the pictures..
I was wearing a grey fluffy king of "over size" shirt that says "mon cherry" with a bow picture on it :)
The shirt is from "Fox"
Black skinny pants from Dolce & Gabbana
Grey sandals from Marko shoes
The bag is the black one that my mom got me
Jewelry:  my 3 usual silver rings and bracelet from Magnolia, my wedding ring (lol), the black watch I got for my last birthday from Alex, and Shell necklace which I made myself :)
On my nails I'm wearing MAC Little Girl Type nail polish with a black leopard print
And for my makeup, just a soft smokey gray eyes and pink lip!

Birthday Wishlist!

Yep. My birthday is almost here (May 27th), and I'm turning 21! (ugh.. I'm old >_<)
I always wanted to do a wishlist on my blog with pictures and everything :) I just love reading other peoples wishlists and so I decided to do my own, and what's a better time to do this then a few days before my birthday? :)
No, I'm not expecting from anyone to give it to me on my birthday! I realize it's too much and too close to the date. ha-ha. These are more kind of the things I want to get this year :) Yes. That will be a good description! ^_^
*Too many smiley faces..*
OK, so here it is: (With a description below)

1. Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Kit - I've just heard too many reviews about this kit and it's SO good for SO many things! Liquid products, cream products, foundation.. You get precision, you get buffing, you get softness!.. Just perfect!

2. Katy Perry Purr Perfume - Not because I like Katy Perry. (Not that I don't like her, I'm just not that a big fan). But because of the scent! I LOVE IT! Not just that it is a good scent, but the main reason why I loved it so much is that it really reminds me of something.. and I don't know what! You know how it is when you smell something that reminds you like a period of your life or something and gets you back to your childhood, or the past or whatever? They say it's really good when a certain scent reminds you of something.. And that's what I have with this perfume! I just couldn't stop smelling it at the store!

3. Coastal Scents 88 Original and Warm Palettes - OK, so I know I'm a little bit late about wanting those, because there was a period of time (like 5 years ago or so) that everyone had it and talked about how they love it.. But I didn't really thought I need it, because my main thought was "What am I gonna do with that much eyeshadows?! Maybe one day, when I'll become a professional makeup artist, and I'll have clients, I'll get one of these.." Well... Now I am. And that's the main reason why I want them. So many colors, great pigmentation, in one palette. Comfortable.

4. Metallic Silver Nails - Again, kind of an old-fashion, but as you probably understood by now, I'm not that kind of a person who follows trends and things like that. I like to buy what I want, when I feel like it :P And just now I started loving this trend! :) I really want to try a metallic silver nail polish (I put China Glaze on the picture, but It really doesn't matter what brand the nail polish will be, it just needs to be good), or even those mirrored chrome nail strips! Would love to try it out! :)

5. This Dress! - Yes, it's Cameron Diaz in the movie "The Mask". And AGAIN, old thing.. But I can swear I wanted this dress since the very first time I've seen that movie, when I was a little girl. (Which I absolutely LOVE.. And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that the name of the girl that Cameron plays in that movie is TINA.. haha). It's just so elegant and beautiful!! Cameron looks GORGEOUS in it! She does wear another pretty dress that I really like, at the end of the movie, a black with red stripes, but I really love this one! Does anyone knows where I can find a dupe to this dress? Or do I have to sew one?... =\

6. Sigma Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit - Last but not least, something I've been wanting for a very long time.. CUTE, versatile, soft, professional, high quality, Vegan! Do I have to continue?..

That's it! Happy birthday to all the people in the world who celebrate their B-day on May 27th, as well! ^_^

XOXO,
Tina.

Leopard Nails And A YT Break

I've been really busy lately....again! I'm just working on my portfolio, running from one photoshoot to another, and that's between classes X_X And so it won't be the same story with the apology video that I haven't done any videos on Youtube lately, I wanted to say here OFFICIALLY that I'm taking a little Youtube break from making videos. Just for a little time until everything gets back to normal rate.

BUT. that doesn't mean I'm going to stop blogging too! :) I am going to post here on my blog here and there when have some free time, like today ^_^
I wanted to show you my leopard printed MATTE nails, inspired by my flattening iron :P ha-ha

I've applied a light lilac purple nail polish as a base, then did the prints with a black nail polish, using a toothpick, and finishes it with a matte top coat!
Turned out pretty cute, I think! :)

That's it for today, thank you for reading and I will talk to you soon!
Bye-bye

Tina.

Wearable Red Eyeshadow

Long time ago, when I was just first introduced to the color wheel and it's tricks, I knew that to find the PERFECT color to match my eye color (which is green..) and make them pop, I need to go to the opposite or parallel color to green on the color wheel.
And that color is red. The first question that poped up in my head was How in the world am I supposed to wear RED on my lids?!
So after a short research and a LOT of practice and attempts, I finally got it! I first felt so intimidated by it, as I've found that it can make your eyes look tired. But right now I want to share all the techniques with you!
After a little search on the internet I have found some great pictures of women wearing red eyeshadow which looks absolutely amazing! Here are some of them to inspire you:

It is pretty hard to find a good red eyeshadow, but I know MakeupForever has one, and the one I'm using in the video below is MAC Red Brick eyeshadow. I have found some tricks to make red eyeshadow work and look wearable and flattering instead of vampy or "clownish". Be sure to check out the video below for all the tips and tricks!
