Sigma's Crème de Couture Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches & Looks

FINALLY! I got the Crème de Couture palette and I get to share it with you guys! :)
I can't even tell you how excited I am about this!!!
I want to warn you that this post is going to be long. Full of pictures and swatches, but also full of all of my thought I describe in details. So if you don't want to read it - just go ahead and look at the pictures and just read the bottom line ;)
First thing first, I did not received this palette from Sigma to review, in case you were wondering. And any of the thoughts I share in this post are truly my genuine thoughts and I won't recommend you to get anything if I don't relly think it is worth the money.
Soooo, now that we've got that clear :)
Inside the package I got the palette, a little card with a fall-inspired look using some colors from the palette and a description of how to get the look, and also a mini sample size of their Spa-glove for cleaning brushes, as a free gift! :) (Sigma is giving you a free gift with any purchase of over 30$, which is always fun! ^_^).

This palette is a part of the Crème de Couture collection by Sigma, which is limited edition (and got sold out on the pre-sale(!)). Along with the palette there are 3 blushes that you can purchase individually, or if you like the whole collection you can get the palette AND the blushes for a lower price. The only reason I didn't purchase the blushes is that I already have similar colors. But you should totally check them out here.
The collection is inspired by macaroons, and I absolutely LOVE the packaging! It's designed as a box of treats and it even has a little booklet inside with all the colors and the description of them. Just like you would get a description of all the sweets in a box of treats. That's just so adorable..
The colors of the packaging (as well as most of the colors in it) are light pastel-sweet colors, which I'm absolutely inlove with!

Inside the palette there are no brushes, add-ons or a mirror, which also contributes to the whole general "treat box" feel it has.

About the colors: There are 16 colorful, bright-pastel shades in the palette. If you like more of a neutral looks that you can wear everyday and if you are afraid of color - this palette is not for you. BUT, if you are like me and you like to express your inner artist and you like playing with color - you will love this!!!

All of the colors in this palette are matte. That's one of the things that make this palette so unique. I don't think I've ever seen a palette with all matte shades, especially when they are so bright, but still paste-lish. Although the shades are matte, they are not dry and actually very buttery and smooth. Like any matte shadows, they are just a bit chalky. But that's totally unnoticeable if you use a good creamy base underneath. They also blend very nicely with a base. I personally didn't had any fall outs at all.
For some reason I have expected this palette to be a bit bigger, but I've actually learned to love it's size, as it is very compact! :)

I think that's it for the overall impression. Let's move on to the swatches!

All of the above swatches are without any base underneath.
And here are some of the looks I've created using this palette: (Follow me on Instagram for more looks I'll be posting! :))

Bottom line: If you like color and like to experiment with different combinations, if you like brights and/or pastels, then you should definitely consider getting this one. It is available on the Sigma website for 32$, (or 55$ if you buy the entire collection), and It is totally worth the money. Because if you do the math, it means each shadow is 2$ (!!!!) And it is insane.
If you do want to get this though, I would recommend ordering it asap, as it is limited edition and the fact it sold out so quickly on the pre-sale might mean it will be sold out fast on the launch as well.
Don't forget to use the coupon code that's on the right side bar of this blog, to save yourself some money, and you will also get a free gift! :)
(Okay so it's not really a bottom LINE, more like a bottom paragraph, lol).
Hope you found this review helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments!

P.S - look up for a tutorial using this baby very soon on my Youtube channel ;)

Sigma Crème de Couture Collection (UPDATED)

Hi everyone! Haven't posted in a while, ha? Well, I'm still active on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter though! So make sure to follow me there too!
So the other day I have found out that Sigma is going to come out with this collection.. As soon as I saw the picture, I was mesmerized! Haha I loved the colors SO much!! Love at first sight. Can't remember when I felt like this for a collection last time.. (Or maybe I do. I think the last time was when the MAC Spring Color Forecast collection came out..)
Anyway! The best way to describe it is probably to show you the picture! :)

Ahhhhh *_*
Isn't it just beautiful??
I mean, look at these soft pastel colors! I want to eat this collection!
Ok, so now I'll stop talking about it and let's get into the details about it:
This collection is called "Crème de Couture", it is featuring an eyeshadow palette with 16 candy-colored shades (32$), and 3 velvety-sweet blush shades (12$ each). You can also purchase the entire collection for 55$ and save money (68$ value).
Sigma says: "Experience these dreamy, macaron-inspired flavours through the whimsical fantasy of Crème de Couture."
This collection is NOW available to purchase on the Sigma website. (Don't forget to use the monthly coupon code at checkout for a 10% off! You can always find the monthly code on the right side bar of this blog. Just click on it and it will take you to the website). It is going to be LIMITED EDITION collection so hurry up! From what we've seen the pre-sale of this was such a success that they were sold out of it even before it launched, so something tells me it's going to be sold out really fast this time as well.. So be sure to place your order now if you really want it :)

I am SOOOO getting one of these palettes! ^_^ What about you? :)

BA STAR Glitter Makeup & Glue Review, Photos And Swatches!

Hey guys! :)
I wanted to tell you about this new product I have found out about through BrandBacker!
The BA STAR glitter makeup and glue!
The ultra fine glitter can be used on eyes, face, nails and hair, and the glue is used to keep it on all day long!
I love the idea of the product because it's always convenient to have this kind of multi purpose product!
Each of these products individually is sold for 8.75$ each. And you can find them at http://bastar.com.
BUT! My readers get 50% off! :D Which is great because it is already cheap but you can get it for even cheaper! :) Use code BBGLITZ to receive your 50% off!
The glitter I got is the Holo Silver Glitter, which is a gorgeous holographic, multi-colored silver glitter. But you have many other choices on their website (http://www.bastar.com/category_s/1861.htm).
The shipping was supposed to last for 5-7 business days, but I actually got it after only 3 days! That was a nice surprise.
The products were nicely wrapped in a clear bag, along with a card.

The glue/base comes with a lipgloss-like applicator and is pretty easy and simple to apply. According to the brand description you need to Apply the Glue Base prior to the Glitter or Any Shadow. They say the unique formula provides all day & night hold. Pat or dab the glitter on for best results.
The glue's net weight is 1.5 Fl Oz.

The glitter comes in a little container and it's fill weight is 5 Oz.

The glitter sticks well to the glue, I didn't had any fallouts after I applied it.

I wanted to upload this out-of-focus picture too. just so you can see the pretty colros of the glitter :)

Right now I am out of the country and I actually received this sample right a day before the flight! So I had the chance to test it. But as soon as I get back I will make sure to upload some looks with it. so look up for that next! :) can't wait to play with it and create some glitterful eye looks and nails! :)

*This is a sponsored post. The product in this post was sent to me by the brand to review it. All of my thoughts about the product in this review are genuine.

Discovering Sugarpill Cosmetics

I have heard about Sugarpill Cosmetics in the past, but never really looked into them too much. Gladly, I did now! And oh-my-goodness am I in love???!
Sugarpill are featured in IMATS, and I think that's where I have first seen them. After browsing their website, the photos on the web and some swatches and reviews from other people, I must say I have a very great desire to get some of their makeup and lashes!!! At first I thought it's a bit pricey, as the 34$ tag pops out after a good 15 minutes staring at the gorgeous colors. But after you shake out of it and do the math: the eyeshadows are HUGE! And they don't only look like that. They are 0.14 oz each. (For comparison: it's almost 3 times bigger than a MAC eyeshadow!) and that means each of the 4 in their quads is 8.5$! (let's just continue with the MAC comparison - a MAC eyeshadow of 0.05 oz is 14.5$.)
My favorite?? Their Burning Heart eyeshadow quad which comes in a cute little palette with a mirror, and 4 gorgeously vibrant colors: yellow, orange, red and purple! :D The funny thing is that this morning, It said on their website it's out of stock. I was sad :( but just now it is available again! So if you see something you like and it's out of stock, just keep going to their website (you can click here to go there) and check out if it's back in stock! :)

I would suggest you to go to Temptalia's website to check out some of her swatches, just to see how insanely pigmented those are!
You can see some here: http://www.temptalia.com/sugarpill-cosmetics-pressed-eyeshadow-reviews-photos-swatches
And here: http://www.temptalia.com/sugarpill-cosmetics-burning-heart-eyeshadow-quad-review-photos-swatches

And yes, I am now affiliating for them! :) And no, I am not telling you all of these good things about them because I am an affiliate. I have actually started affiliating with them just today, when I have started "discovering" their products last week. You may or may not believe me, but why listening to me? the prices on their website, and these pictures, can speak for themselves:
