Our Trip - Day 3

(If you haven't read day 1 and 2 of our trip, click here and here to do so! :))
On our third and last day, we drove to Montreal. I like that it's a big beautiful city, but I don't like the traffic on the way there >_< Nevertheless, it was very fun to walk around the city. We also stopped at a small cafè and had lunch :)

I never thought about wearing an "oversize" fluffy shirt with leggings, but I've seen it on other girls and thought it looks so pretty together! So I decided to give a chance for myself with this kind of outfit, and it turned out to look as cute! ^_^ Sometimes, you rally need to mix and match different textures, colors and styles of clothing, to get something unusual and beautiful!
For the makeup, I kept everything pretty balanced. A black winged liner over neutral eyeshadow tones, Rozy cheeks and pink lips.

Shirt: TNT
Leggings: Can't remember where I got it, but they're just regular black leggings you can get basically anywhere..
Shoes: twentyfourseven
Bag: A gift from my MIL (mother in law..)
Bracelets: Clair's
Nail polish: MAC Scorcher
*Warning: This is a VERY photos-loaded post :P*

Our Trip - Day 2

(If you haven`t read Day One, click here)
So on the second day of our little trip, we drove to Magog. A small town near Montreal, surrounded by mountains. It is such a beautiful place! We have walked around it, picked up some pretty rocks by the lake, and just enjoyed the sun!
We also took some pictures suitable for OOTD, so I`m first going to show you some random pictures from that day, and then let you know what I wore and show you the pictures of the OOTD. So keep reading! :)

So now for the OOTD: You already know how much I love peaches and bright corals. I got these tops at the same time to wear them together, but so there will be an option to wear them separately, too.
I matched it with a 3/4 white pants, and because I knew we`re going to walk a lot - Converse shoes. The bracelet I`m wearing here is made out of shelves, and I really like the color of it.
For the makeup, I wanted to match the colors of the eyeshadows to the color of the shirt, but I kept it a little bit lighter and softer, so it won't be too much. So I used peachy-coral shades on my lids, peachy blush and peachy lips. Usually, I won't do all the face in the same colors, but as peach is very subtle and soft color, it worked for this look.

Pants: Castro
Shoes: Converse

First Day Of Our Trip

We are finally back home, and I am ready to share our trip (and lots of pictures) with you guys!
We had such a great time and it's so sad to get back to the daily routine now.. But that's okay :)
So on our first day we stopped in Chateauguay, a small town (if you can call it like that), near Montreal, at Alex's uncle. He showed us some really beautiful places near Chateauguay. I didn't take many pictures that day, since we arrived close to evening time, but here are the photos I did take!

Birthday Wishlist!

Yep. My birthday is almost here (May 27th), and I'm turning 21! (ugh.. I'm old >_<)
I always wanted to do a wishlist on my blog with pictures and everything :) I just love reading other peoples wishlists and so I decided to do my own, and what's a better time to do this then a few days before my birthday? :)
No, I'm not expecting from anyone to give it to me on my birthday! I realize it's too much and too close to the date. ha-ha. These are more kind of the things I want to get this year :) Yes. That will be a good description! ^_^
*Too many smiley faces..*
OK, so here it is: (With a description below)

1. Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Kit - I've just heard too many reviews about this kit and it's SO good for SO many things! Liquid products, cream products, foundation.. You get precision, you get buffing, you get softness!.. Just perfect!

2. Katy Perry Purr Perfume - Not because I like Katy Perry. (Not that I don't like her, I'm just not that a big fan). But because of the scent! I LOVE IT! Not just that it is a good scent, but the main reason why I loved it so much is that it really reminds me of something.. and I don't know what! You know how it is when you smell something that reminds you like a period of your life or something and gets you back to your childhood, or the past or whatever? They say it's really good when a certain scent reminds you of something.. And that's what I have with this perfume! I just couldn't stop smelling it at the store!

3. Coastal Scents 88 Original and Warm Palettes - OK, so I know I'm a little bit late about wanting those, because there was a period of time (like 5 years ago or so) that everyone had it and talked about how they love it.. But I didn't really thought I need it, because my main thought was "What am I gonna do with that much eyeshadows?! Maybe one day, when I'll become a professional makeup artist, and I'll have clients, I'll get one of these.." Well... Now I am. And that's the main reason why I want them. So many colors, great pigmentation, in one palette. Comfortable.

4. Metallic Silver Nails - Again, kind of an old-fashion, but as you probably understood by now, I'm not that kind of a person who follows trends and things like that. I like to buy what I want, when I feel like it :P And just now I started loving this trend! :) I really want to try a metallic silver nail polish (I put China Glaze on the picture, but It really doesn't matter what brand the nail polish will be, it just needs to be good), or even those mirrored chrome nail strips! Would love to try it out! :)

5. This Dress! - Yes, it's Cameron Diaz in the movie "The Mask". And AGAIN, old thing.. But I can swear I wanted this dress since the very first time I've seen that movie, when I was a little girl. (Which I absolutely LOVE.. And no, it has nothing to do with the fact that the name of the girl that Cameron plays in that movie is TINA.. haha). It's just so elegant and beautiful!! Cameron looks GORGEOUS in it! She does wear another pretty dress that I really like, at the end of the movie, a black with red stripes, but I really love this one! Does anyone knows where I can find a dupe to this dress? Or do I have to sew one?... =\

6. Sigma Mrs. Bunny Essential Kit - Last but not least, something I've been wanting for a very long time.. CUTE, versatile, soft, professional, high quality, Vegan! Do I have to continue?..

That's it! Happy birthday to all the people in the world who celebrate their B-day on May 27th, as well! ^_^

XOXO,
Tina.

Coffee And Raisin Muffins

This is the first time I'm trying to improvise with a muffins recipe, and it turned out pretty darn good! So I thought I will share it with you guys! :)
I was actually looking for a good coffee muffins recipe, but all of them included some ingredients which I didn't have. So I found this basic and simple muffins recipe, changed it a little and added some ingredients. I also had some raisins so I thought I'll add them too.
It's super easy to do and comes out delicious! :))
So here is my Coffee and Raisins muffins recipe:

Ingredients:
2 Cups all-purpose flour
1/2 Cup + 2 tablespoons sugar
1 Tablespoon baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
2 Tablespoons of your favorite coffee
1/3 Cup chocolate milk powder
1 Egg
3/4 Cup milk
1/3 Cup vegetable oil
1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 Cup raisins

In a large bowl, combine all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, coffee and chocolate milk powder). In a small bowl, beat the egg, milk, oil and vanilla. Pour into the dry ingredients and stir until just moistened. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups and bake at 400 ℉(Or 200 °C)  for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out dry.

The National Women's Show, Montana's And A New Dress!

If you are following me on twitter, or friends with me by Facebook, then you probably know I was at thw National Women's Show in Ottawa last weekend, at the GA-DE counter, doing peoples makeup! :) It was lots of fun and I've met many cool people there! A lot of you where asking me what GA-DE is, so it's a European brand, that is new to Canada. I actually have no idea if it's available in the US too.. I think not.. Anyway, right now it has no stores in Canada and it only sales online, but they hope to open some stores soon! I will be reviewing one of their products soon.

After that, me and Alex decided to go have some dinner at a local restaurant named "Montana's". It has this cool interior design, glass jars instead of glasses, and the tablecloth is made of this material which you can paint on! And they even give you some crayons haha! I've ordered nachos and Alex ordered something I've never tried and have no idea what's it called.. But it was very funny when the waitress came with our dishes, and mine was like 4 times bigger then Alex's haha!

The day after this, we went shopping and I bought this super pretty dress at Garage (it's a Canadian store that I really love :) I love the color of it! it's kind of a bright teal and it makes you skin look more tan! ^_^

I hope ya'll are having a great week! :)

xoxo,
Tina.
