Sigma's Crème de Couture Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos, Swatches & Looks

FINALLY! I got the Crème de Couture palette and I get to share it with you guys! :)
I can't even tell you how excited I am about this!!!
I want to warn you that this post is going to be long. Full of pictures and swatches, but also full of all of my thought I describe in details. So if you don't want to read it - just go ahead and look at the pictures and just read the bottom line ;)
First thing first, I did not received this palette from Sigma to review, in case you were wondering. And any of the thoughts I share in this post are truly my genuine thoughts and I won't recommend you to get anything if I don't relly think it is worth the money.
Soooo, now that we've got that clear :)
Inside the package I got the palette, a little card with a fall-inspired look using some colors from the palette and a description of how to get the look, and also a mini sample size of their Spa-glove for cleaning brushes, as a free gift! :) (Sigma is giving you a free gift with any purchase of over 30$, which is always fun! ^_^).

This palette is a part of the Crème de Couture collection by Sigma, which is limited edition (and got sold out on the pre-sale(!)). Along with the palette there are 3 blushes that you can purchase individually, or if you like the whole collection you can get the palette AND the blushes for a lower price. The only reason I didn't purchase the blushes is that I already have similar colors. But you should totally check them out here.
The collection is inspired by macaroons, and I absolutely LOVE the packaging! It's designed as a box of treats and it even has a little booklet inside with all the colors and the description of them. Just like you would get a description of all the sweets in a box of treats. That's just so adorable..
The colors of the packaging (as well as most of the colors in it) are light pastel-sweet colors, which I'm absolutely inlove with!

Inside the palette there are no brushes, add-ons or a mirror, which also contributes to the whole general "treat box" feel it has.

About the colors: There are 16 colorful, bright-pastel shades in the palette. If you like more of a neutral looks that you can wear everyday and if you are afraid of color - this palette is not for you. BUT, if you are like me and you like to express your inner artist and you like playing with color - you will love this!!!

All of the colors in this palette are matte. That's one of the things that make this palette so unique. I don't think I've ever seen a palette with all matte shades, especially when they are so bright, but still paste-lish. Although the shades are matte, they are not dry and actually very buttery and smooth. Like any matte shadows, they are just a bit chalky. But that's totally unnoticeable if you use a good creamy base underneath. They also blend very nicely with a base. I personally didn't had any fall outs at all.
For some reason I have expected this palette to be a bit bigger, but I've actually learned to love it's size, as it is very compact! :)

I think that's it for the overall impression. Let's move on to the swatches!

All of the above swatches are without any base underneath.
And here are some of the looks I've created using this palette: (Follow me on Instagram for more looks I'll be posting! :))

Bottom line: If you like color and like to experiment with different combinations, if you like brights and/or pastels, then you should definitely consider getting this one. It is available on the Sigma website for 32$, (or 55$ if you buy the entire collection), and It is totally worth the money. Because if you do the math, it means each shadow is 2$ (!!!!) And it is insane.
If you do want to get this though, I would recommend ordering it asap, as it is limited edition and the fact it sold out so quickly on the pre-sale might mean it will be sold out fast on the launch as well.
Don't forget to use the coupon code that's on the right side bar of this blog, to save yourself some money, and you will also get a free gift! :)
(Okay so it's not really a bottom LINE, more like a bottom paragraph, lol).
Hope you found this review helpful! If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments!

P.S - look up for a tutorial using this baby very soon on my Youtube channel ;)

BA STAR Glitter Makeup & Glue Review, Photos And Swatches!

Hey guys! :)
I wanted to tell you about this new product I have found out about through BrandBacker!
The BA STAR glitter makeup and glue!
The ultra fine glitter can be used on eyes, face, nails and hair, and the glue is used to keep it on all day long!
I love the idea of the product because it's always convenient to have this kind of multi purpose product!
Each of these products individually is sold for 8.75$ each. And you can find them at http://bastar.com.
BUT! My readers get 50% off! :D Which is great because it is already cheap but you can get it for even cheaper! :) Use code BBGLITZ to receive your 50% off!
The glitter I got is the Holo Silver Glitter, which is a gorgeous holographic, multi-colored silver glitter. But you have many other choices on their website (http://www.bastar.com/category_s/1861.htm).
The shipping was supposed to last for 5-7 business days, but I actually got it after only 3 days! That was a nice surprise.
The products were nicely wrapped in a clear bag, along with a card.

The glue/base comes with a lipgloss-like applicator and is pretty easy and simple to apply. According to the brand description you need to Apply the Glue Base prior to the Glitter or Any Shadow. They say the unique formula provides all day & night hold. Pat or dab the glitter on for best results.
The glue's net weight is 1.5 Fl Oz.

The glitter comes in a little container and it's fill weight is 5 Oz.

The glitter sticks well to the glue, I didn't had any fallouts after I applied it.

I wanted to upload this out-of-focus picture too. just so you can see the pretty colros of the glitter :)

Right now I am out of the country and I actually received this sample right a day before the flight! So I had the chance to test it. But as soon as I get back I will make sure to upload some looks with it. so look up for that next! :) can't wait to play with it and create some glitterful eye looks and nails! :)

*This is a sponsored post. The product in this post was sent to me by the brand to review it. All of my thoughts about the product in this review are genuine.

Sigma Brow Powder Duo & EyeShadow Base Photos, Swatches, Review/First Impression!

Sooo exited! Look what I got in the mail box today!!! :D
That's right! I got the Sigma Eye Shadow Base in Persuade, and their Brow Powder Duo in Dark (also available in Light, Medium and Auburn.) And as for the Eyeshadow Bases- you can get them individually, or in sets, and save money! :)
I wanted to try their Eyeshadow Bases for so long! (since they launched, actually..). So many people have been talking about them, compering them to the MAC Paint Pots. They say Persuade is actually a dupe for Mac's Painterly Paint Pot, but I don't have it, so I can't say for sure.
The package of the Eyeshadow Base is really nice. On the carton you can see the name of the shade on top, on a sticker that is the same shade :) The container is plastic and pretty big but light. You get 0.17 oz of product in this pot.
Another thing I like about the packaging is that the gold Sigma logo on top is printed on the lid, so it's not a sticker. It's part of the design and it's not going anywhere!
When you open the lid, there's a little seal inside, to prevent the product from drying out quickly (one of the main problems about MAC paint pots.. So I hope to see this one will solve the problem! :D). The little thing you need to pull to take out the white lid is actually shaped like a tiny leaf. So cute! Love the detailing of Sigma.
So the shade "Persuade" is matte, nude beigy-toned, with slight pinkish undertone.
On the above picture you can see the size comparing to my hand.
The texture of the Eyeshadow Base is super creamy and smooth, and very nicely applied to the skin. It's opaque and pigmented, yet buildable. It dried pretty quick and stayed on mt wrist, even after rubbing it. I also tried to rub it out with water and it took a while to eventually take it off, so I can say it's also water resistant!
The shade is very close to my skintone so you can barely see it on the above picture..

So next, is the Brow Powder Duo!
I really needed an eyebrow powder because I've been using Sigma's eyeshadow in Hitch (from the Bare palette), in the areas I needed to go lighter on my brows, and then mixing Hitch with Control, in the areas I needed to fill in the eyebrow darker (I do have VERY dark eyebrows), but Control alone was too dark for me, and I really felt bad wasting Hitch on my eyebrows.. So I was so glad they came up with the individual Brow Powder Duos and I have found the shade that's exectly for me!!!
I am so glad I got it and I am so happy with it! I was afraid the lighter color in the duo will be too light, but it turned out a shade darker than Hitch, so that's perfect for me! And the darker shade is exactly the mix between Hitch and Control that I was mixing to create the perfect shade for my eyebrows! Yay!! :)))
The packaging is also plastic and it's nice and light. Again, just like the packaging on the Eyeshadow Base, the color is written on a sticker of the same color on top of the carton box it came in, and the logo on the plastic container is printed on it as a part of the design, and it's not a sticker. On both of them, only the name tag on the bottom of the container is a sticker.
The above picture was taken with camera flash, and shows the color very well as it is in reality.
These are the swatches of both sides of the duo. You can totally mix them, but I know I will use them separately for lighter and darker parts of the brow, to make it look natural! :)

With the package, I got a little brochure with all of their makeup products, which is really nice and handy.

I am looking forward to use these! I love how Persuade is a neutral color that I think will suit great under any eyeshadow color, and I expect using the Brow Duo every single day! :))

You can get these products at Sigma Beauty. The Brow Powder Duo is 14$, and the individual Eyeshadow Base is 13$.

Wet N' Wild Petal Pusher Eyeshadow Palette Review, Photos & Swatches

Since you all know how I love my "Comfort Zone" eyeshadow palette by Wet N' Wild (which was featured in my latest Favorites video) (Review here), I just had to get another palette of these! This time I got the Petal Pusher palette. Most of it's shades are purple toned. Some cooler, some warmer. But altogether I think this palette is great for either daytime looks, or night time smokey looks!
Again, the palette is divided into two parts, and on each part you can find a shade that's suggested by the brand for browbone highlighting, a shade that's for all over the lid, one for the crease, and another one for the outer edge of the eye, as a definer. Although I think the shades they suggest for these certain areas are really suitable for that, you of course can mix and match the colors, and obviously don't have to use them in the areas suggested.

The colors are very pigmented. Most of the shades are shimmery or have a pearly-sheen to them. The cost of this palette is 3.99$CAD, and you can find it at almost any drugstore. (I actually stumbled upon it at the grocery store haha)
The left side of the palette is the lighter one.
The first, Browbone shade, is a white base with a pink duo-chrome pearly sheen. Perfect for the browbone, inner corners, or around the edges of purple colors to make it look "glowing".
The Eyelid shade is a warm pink with golden sheen.
The Crease color is a cool purple shade with a bit of bluish under tone sheen.
The Definer shade on this side is the most blue-shade purple in the palette, with silver glitter.
The right side of the palette has the darker, more shimmery shades.
The Browbone shade on this side is a silvery pink. Very pigmented.
The Eyelid color is a burgundy with golden shimmer.
The Crease shade is a darkened plum with purple-burgundy shimmer.
The last shade, the Definer on the right side, is an ashy black with silver shimmer. The shimmer holds on to the shade very well, even when swatching with no base underneath.

I can't wait to make some looks with this one! It looks so pretty! And the fact it's that cheap for such pretty pigmented colors, is just a huge bonus!
